Whistler is built for people who love year-round adventure — and we think our saunas fit right in.

Our latest install is a 100 sq. ft. Blackcomb Sauna, delivered to a property in Whistler, BC. With cedar interiors and exteriors, tiered benches, electric heat, ambient lighting and a large double-glazed window, the Blackcomb is designed to be enjoyed in every season. Just like Whistler itself.

Need A Crane? No Problem.

This sauna was added to a property where the house was already in place, so getting it into the backyard required a crane. Luckily, we’ve done this before – just maybe not quite this high! This particular lift required a 130ft reach up and over the trees (phew!).

Our favourite local crane guy and transport team worked together like clockwork, making the short trip from our Chilliwack Warehaus and getting the sauna exactly where it needed to go.

That’s one of the perks of modular construction: we build the sauna in our shop, coordinate the transportation and installation, and bring the finished product to the property.

Making Friends in the Mountains

This is actually our second sauna in the Whistler area, so we’re starting to think our saunas may be making a few friends up there.

With mountains, trails, lakes and plenty of reasons to spend time outside, Whistler seems like a pretty natural home for a Hewing Haus sauna. And we’re guessing this won’t be our last trip up the Sea to Sky.
