Planning for 2026: Start Now to Secure Your Spot

Our fabrication team is currently booking projects for spring and summer 2026 delivery – and our schedule is already filling up. If you’re dreaming of having your Hewing Haus ready next year, now’s the time to start planning.

We can help you time your delivery to align with other critical milestones:

✔️ Local permitting
✔️ Site prep and services
✔️ Seasonal factors (like road access or weather)
✔️ Your target occupancy timeline

The #1 Planning Hurdle? Land.

One of the most common things that holds up our clients is land acquisition. If you’re still looking for the right property, we can help guide you toward smart choices. Some parcels might look dreamy but come with difficult (and expensive) build conditions. Others might be ready for your Hewing Haus with minimal work. We generally provide a wide suggested range of between $80 – $150k for site preparations (services, connections, foundations, tree clearing, etc), which shows how each element can vary widely.

Here are a few factors we help our clients assess:

Topography

Is the land sloped, rocky, or uneven – or is it relatively flat and build-ready? Steep or irregular lots often require excavation, retaining walls, or custom foundations, which can add time and cost to your project. Flat or gently sloped sites tend to be simpler and more budget-friendly for installation.

Access
Can a delivery truck and crane reach the site easily? Is there a clear access road that can support the weight and size of the modules? Sites without proper access may require upgrades, temporary roads, or even barge or helicopter delivery in remote cases – all of which are possible, but come with added logistics and cost.

All of these details affect your build cost and timeline, and we’ve learned how to help clients plan efficiently, whether they’re starting with a raw lot or a semi-serviced site.
